Alana Collins is a visual artist based in Brisbane, Queensland. Working primarily with graphite on paper, Alana creates intricate, mesmerising pieces using the finest line work and detailed contouring.

Her recent series of works on paper have explored the natural forms and structures of rocks and minerals, combining the concentric banding of agates with the softness of a drawn graphite line. Since working with Grey Hand Press, Alana has been creating a new series of line etchings which explore the contours of gemstones and agates.
