Pine rosin is a material that can be used in the etching of lithography stones, and in traditional aquatint intaglio. Our pure lump rosin is ready to grind for either process. We source food-grade “water white” pine rosin.

* If used for lithography, we recommend adding a small amount of talc as an anti-caking agent during grinding. Rosin is not used on lithographic plates as it may scratch the aluminium matrix.
