Learn the skills of Linocut printmaking, and take home your very own hand-printed works on paper. Once learned, this versatile and accessible technique can be applied to the creation of artist’s books, textile design, poster design and limited edition prints.

This class will cover carving out your image from a lino matrix, line work and cutting techniques, safety, correct inking of a plate and hand printing. You will also be advised on how to hand colour your prints and introduce textures into your work. You will take home a striking set of your own prints, your lino plates and full instructions so you have the ability to print at home using this technique.
