Exclusive to Brisbane Art Design Festival 2019, this workshop will focus on unconventional printmaking practices and some good ol’ rule-breaking fun. We invite you to do away with traditional conventions, and embrace something a little bit different.
The focus of the BAD PRINTS workshop will be working with a large, oversize communal woodcut print, using non-traditional carving tools and printing methods. Each participant will take home a series of monoprints produced from one giant woodblock. Think power tools, wooden spoons and off-centre registration!
Morning tea and refreshments provided. Places are limited to 10 people.
All materials are provided, please BYO lunch and apron!
Date & Time: Wednesday 15 May, 10am - 2pm
Location: Grey Hand Press, Unit 28 / 16 Crockford Street Northgate
