In this 3 hour workshop students will learn the skills of drypoint printmaking, and print their own works on paper. Drypoint comes from the family of intaglio printmaking, which involves incising lines and tonal value into a metal or plastic plate, and carefully applying ink to the lines before transferring the image to paper.
This class will cover creating imagery and incising lines into an acrylic plate, line work safety, correct inking of a plate and printing.
